Why Journey Planner?

Inspiration came from the following Hadith where AbuDarda reports that Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings upon him,said “If anyone travels on a road in search of knowledge, Allah will cause them to travel on one of the roads of Paradise” [Abu Dawood, Hadith 1631]. The Prophet of Allah, peace and blessings upon him, also instructs us that each year our lives should improve and given that we are here on a journey the name Journey Planner just seemed right.

The Journey Planner ebook was great, how does this build on that?

The ebook contains inspirations for each day of Ramadhan, an idea, a thought to consider. Journey Planner builds on the seeds that you planted and help them flourish. I have done a post Ramadhan course before. How is this course different?

Journey Planner is different from other post Ramadhan courses and is complementary to other post Ramadhan courses. To date there has been no online course bringing together Islamic psychology principles and values and positive psychology interventions. This course is not just designed for you to create an action plan for the next 12 months but for you also to build the skills and learn how to coach yourself- something which is rarely done in training such as this.

Are there any prerequisites for this course?

The most important requirement is your commitment. You will have access to all the material for you to go through time and time again. We highly recommend attending the all the live sessions but if you can’t then you will be provided with a link to download the recordings and presentations from the live sessions.

Can brothers sign up?
